Toyota GAZOO Racing announced the updated GR Corolla on September 18, 2025. Order acceptance started on the same day in Japan; The start of sales was planned for November 3. The update aims to improve body and engine behavior in intensive track use.
Structural adhesive application was increased by 13.9 meters, bringing the total to 32.7 meters. The interventions around the front body, base and rear wheel aim to strengthen rigidity while increasing the weight to a limited extent.
The new cold air duct, which opens at high speed, tries to reduce the intake temperature by taking outside air from the grill. Toyota also announced that it will expand its purchasing reach by changing the supply pattern. These technical changes are not offered as independent lap time measurements.
