Toyota's GAZOO Racing division held the world launch of GRMN Corolla on June 2, 2026. The model was informed by development work at the Nürburgring circuit and data from Japan's Super Taikyu races.
The air ducts, front side spoilers and rear wing added to the body aim to support the contact of the tires with the ground at high speed. The development team also combined track trials with driving simulators; The improvements transferred to the GR Corolla arose from the same program.
GRMN Corolla is planned to be offered in limited numbers. In Japan, sales meeting applications are expected to be received through the GR application around autumn 2026, and sales are expected to start in 2027. The announcement does not constitute a commitment for production numbers or the Turkish market.
