BMW Concept 7 Protection is a new protection vehicle concept developed on the 7 Series sedan. The brand aims to respond to the different risk profiles of private and corporate customers and organizations. In the design, it stands out that protection equipment is considered together with daily use and cabin comfort.

The concept is positioned for lower protection coverage than the existing high-security 7 Series Protection and X5 Protection models. BMW explains this distinction through the mission profile; The same protection class is not assumed based on the model name.

The technical basis comes from the M760e xDrive. The rechargeable hybrid setup combines a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder gasoline engine with an electric motor integrated into the transmission. Development, production and after-sales services are planned within the whole vehicle approach.
