Nissan launched Japanese sales of the renewed Fairlady Z and Fairlady Z NISMO on August 27, 2026. While the long hood and short rear section proportions are maintained, the front Z emblem is back; The new bumper nose changed its appearance.

The location of the air ducts and sonar sensors has been adjusted to reduce frontal lift and aerodynamic drag. The Unryu Green and Super Black two-tone option references the color history of the classic S30.

Select versions feature larger monotube shock absorbers. It was announced that the pressure area was enlarged by 26.6 percent compared to the previous model; The source attributes this to the purpose of controlling body movements. Due to hardware differences, not every technical innovation is automatically generalized to all Z versions.
