Nissan's report dated August 4, 2026 covers the SUPER GT race held at Fuji Speedway two days ago. The heavy rain before the start quickly stopped and the track dried out, so the tire choices were changed at the last minute.
The 300-kilometer, 66-lap race started behind the safety car. On the first restart, contact occurred between Zs 12 and 23; A red flag was shown following the multi-vehicle incident.
Although car number 23 returned to the track after repairs, it was abandoned due to vibration. While number 12 fell behind due to penalties, team number 24 tried to gain ground with strategy. The report describes this leg where Nissan has difficulty; it is not presented as the same race as the later Suzuka and SUGO results.
