Hedley Studios introduced the 550 J, inspired by the Porsche 550 Spyder, as an officially licensed collector's vehicle. The work, prepared with the archival support of Porsche, connects to the 75-year motor sports program. Production is limited to 250 examples.

Approximately 2.9 meters long and 1.2 meters wide, the vehicle is approximately 80 percent of the scale of the original 550. It offers space for up to two people. The steel spaceframe chassis and carbon fiber body form the basis of hand-built production in the UK.

The fully electric 48 volt system provides approximately 8 kW in standard configuration and up to 16 kW with the RS Package. Personalization options are also explained. News covers the scope of licensed reinterpretation; does not equate it with the original racing car of the 1950s or the current road car.
