Nissan's announcement dated September 10, 2026 covers the reorganization of its Japan business through product diversification and production competition. The aim is to expand the domestic market, develop exports and strengthen the global role of Japanese production.

After Roox, LEAF, Kicks and Elgrand, Skyline, Patrol and the new global B segment car program are mentioned. Nissan Family Development Strategy will combine product planning, engineering and technology use around common vehicle families.

Arranging facilities according to their specializations and increasing durability and capacity utilization are three production priorities. The company's target is to produce approximately one million vehicles per year in Japan; not the actual result. The announcement does not reveal the exact release date for each new model.
