Opel GSE Formula E Team announced the wind tunnel work for the GSE 27FE. The higher speeds of the new GEN4 generation magnify the role of aerodynamics in vehicle stability and energy efficiency.

For the first time in Formula E, two different aerodynamic configurations will be used. By measuring the behavior of these layouts in various conditions, the team prepares the program of track tests and the tuning options of the race car with more precise data.

According to Opel's statement, the GEN4 power level increases from the previous 350 kW to 600 kW and brings a permanent four-wheel drive system. Wind tunnel data forms the engineering basis for using increased performance in a controlled manner.
