ADAC Opel Rally Junior Team secured its seventh drivers' championship ahead of the final rally of the season. Timo Schulz and his co-driver Maresa Lade won the Rali Ceredigion in Wales and took the points lead.
Following this result, the 2026 Junior European Rally Championship can only go to Schulz or his teammate Tom Heindrichs. Schulz is 14 points ahead of his opponent before the Portuguese final.
Heindrichs' Corsa Rally4 could not complete the race after going off the road in the 14th of 16 special stages. However, the fact that only five of the six results are included in the season calculation keeps the championship possibility in the last rally alive.
