Team Peugeot TotalEnergies took its first points of the season in the Spa-Francorchamps 6 Hours race. 9X8 number 93 finished seventh, with Stoffel Vandoorne recording the fastest lap of the race.
Starting from pole position, car number 94 was struggling for a strong result in the first part. Contact with a GT car disrupted the car's race course, preventing the initial advantage from being carried forward to the conclusion.
Peugeot evaluates the first pole position, strong opening stint and fastest lap in terms of Le Mans preparation. The team's next big target is the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where it will commemorate the centenary of the brand's first participation in the race.
