Peugeot Turbo 100 comes with chain timing and new turbo system

Peugeot introduced the new Turbo 100 gasoline engine for the 208 and 2008 models. The three-cylinder, 1,199 cubic centimeter engine produces 101 hp power at 5,500 rpm and 205 Nm torque starting from 1,750 rpm.

The new variable geometry turbocharger and high-pressure direct injection have been developed for efficiency and low-rpm response. Chain is used in the timing mechanism; The piston and engine block are also among the changed components.

Peugeot reports that the engine contains 70 percent new parts by value. The Turbo 100 was planned to be added to the 208 in March 2026 and the 2008 in May 2026; The statement updates the gasoline options of the two models together.
