Porsche explained the production of the GT3 Bergsport in Zuffenhausen with the images of photographer Stefan Bogner. The special market version based on the 911 GT3 Touring Package first goes through the same body, paint and assembly steps as other 911s.

Following the application of Valleygreen metallic paint, Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur adds special details. Badges, leather embossing and color-matched accessories combine mass production and hand craftsmanship on the same vehicle. These processes belong to the customization phase after standard assembly.

The Porsche statement reports that the 911 is produced on the same production line with approximately 1,900 components and 25 variants. The average time from body production to final assembly is approximately four days. This figure describes the overall 911 process in the factory; Delivery to the customer should not be equated with waiting time.
