Porsche showed a single-example Sonderwunsch car called Flachbau RS at Monterey Car Week 2026. The work, prepared in partnership with Manthey, was developed on the 911 GT2 RS with the Weissach package. The slanted front design refers to the 935 race cars of the late 1970s.

The Grand Prix White body features new front fenders, a three-layer headlight arrangement and a 911 GT3 R rennsport-inspired rear wing. Porsche reports that wind tunnel and Nordschleife testing was used in the development; The project took about three years.

In the same program, the 911 Carrera S MT Package with a six-speed manual transmission, exclusive to the USA and Canada, was introduced. Three personalized 911s inspired by Sally Carrera and Toy Story characters were also on display. The event covers mass product and single sample design works together.
