Renault 5 Turbo 3E will be a series of 1,980 units with 540 hp

Renault announced the technical structure of the 5 Turbo 3E. The approximately four-meter electric performance car combines a special platform and carbon superstructure developed with Alpine expertise with 540 hp rear wheel motors.

800 V architecture supports DC charging up to 350 kW; The 15-80 percent filling time is targeted to be fifteen minutes. For the model with a 70 kWh battery, 0–100 km/h is predicted to be under 3.5 seconds.

Production is capped at 1,980 numbered cars each, with first deliveries planned for 2027. Since some technical results, such as range, are awaiting homologation at the announcement date, it is necessary to separate targets from finalized production measurements.
