The 200 thousandth new generation Peugeot 3008 was produced in Sochaux

Peugeot announced that the 200 thousandth example of the new generation 3008 was produced at its Sochaux facility. Brand manager Alain Favey and facility manager Manuel Gentile attended the ceremony on September 24.

This production quantity covers the model period starting in September 2023. Peugeot cites the fastback SUV design and electric and electrified powertrain options as the pillars of the model's commercial performance.

According to the statement, the share of fully electric versions in sales is 22 percent, and the share of the top GT equipment is 54 percent. Sochaux is positioned as part of the French production ecosystem connected to centers such as Douvrin, Trémery and Mulhouse.
