Opel offered a 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine for the first time for the Vivaro open-body commercial vehicle. The new combination was announced for municipal utilities, landscaping businesses and users carrying large equipment.
The engine produces 110 kW, that is, 150 hp power and 370 Nm maximum torque. This version uses a six-speed manual transmission; The safe is accessible from three sides, making loading and unloading easier.
Vivaro's panel van, crew cab and chassis options continue within the same commercial family. The new open body is featured among the Opel products on the Stellantis Pro One stand at the IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover.
